About Me:

Since I'm a teenager, I want to commit in the world for changing this unfair world.

How to do that?

When I was 19 years old, I became a member of a Marxist party. The principle was always: confrontation, confrontain…
The ideal was so beautyful: do a revolution for changing the world. After the revolution, the worker's class will be no more exploited. Finally, the world will change in the better way…

A new perspective came when I discovered aikido and his principles based on love and harmony. Discovering aikido was like a coming back at home. Thanks to Patrick Sensei, I discovered that spiritual evolution was also a part of me: reading spiritual books, doing meditation, engaging on the spiritual path….

Important questions arised in my mind: how can I deal with my spriritual growing and my engagement for changing the world ? It seemed so conflicting : these 2 ways could not come together…

Since some months ago, I found the key of my existence by reading Ken Wilber's books : integrate both perspectives in my everydaylife.  My self evolution and my social engagement are interdependant and really close. Without self growing, it is just not possible to change the world. It is “Sadhana”, that means spiritual practice. It refers to inner development and to service in the world.

Since 6 months, I practice “Sadhana”: I travel through Himalaya (Ladakh, Darjeeling, Sikkim, Nepal). I worked 2 months in a Tibetan refugee center by taking care of small kids in the Nursery. I practised everyday meditation and practised vipassana in Lumbini with a wonderful teacher,  did a long trek around Annapurna with wonderful views on the highest peaks of the world…

I know now that Life whatever it brings you, is sadhana, a spiritual practice for STILLNESS and COMPASSION.

In few days I will come back to Switzerland to my everyday life. The challenge now is to keep this deep peace and this feeling of compassion in my normal life. Sadhana is continuing!

I hope we will share together thoughts and experiences!
